I am an absolute Fashion Junkey, so when I came across this cute little Tee with Holy Chic & Chic Happens written across it I had to have one. Well there’s one problem the tee is $228.00, yea you read right $228.00! I love the tee but who in their right mind would pay $228.00 for this tee!

I’m great with projects and I just knew I could come up with something just as cute for a lower price tag.  So I headed over to my nearest Hobby Lobby and picked up some Iron letters for $3.99 & grabbed a white tee from my drawer. If you go to Hobby Lobby make sure you look for a 40% off coupon here.

I decide on what I wanted my tee to say and laid the letters out on my tee, grabbed my iron and applied some heat.

Heres the final product! I love it and can’t wait to wear it, ill make sure I post some pics when I do!

  1. Genae, now that’s what I’m talking about! Create your own t-shirt and save TONS of money! How dare someone want to charge that much money for a t-shirt. Really??? I love a crafty person. My daughter is one of those. My tee would say this: “Chloe Made This for Me!” That’s my daughter’s name. 🙂

  2. Oh my did I read that correctly $228?!?!?!?! I loved your shirt & it gives me an idea to do me one. I know I can iron on a few letters to a tee for less than $228 lol

  3. That was a cute idea. Reminded me of my youth when iron on symbols and patches were the cool thing to do for personalization and youthful fashion. Everything in its season, every season in its cycle.
