Hey FashionJjunkeys! I’ve been so busy with all my activities for the summer but I’m trying to get back in the groove of posting more often. So today we will start off with a new pair of kicks I picked up for $20.00 on Totsy, to bad Totsy was bought out by some new company called Modnique which is entirely to pricey compared to the old Totsy. I wont be shopping on Modnique any time soon.
They came in the mail and I loved them, they color just popped so I decided to pair them up with some cut off jeans and a yellow sleeveless tee. I took my son school shopping and let me tell you these were so comfortable to be on my feet all day.
Sorry you wont find them for $20.00 but you can find them here for $63.99.
Top Asos, Shorts Thrifted value Village, Shoes Totsy
I bought a sew machine a few months back and its been sitting in my closet ever since. So since its a rainy day here in Atlanta I decided to pull my Brother machine out and alter a few items that I cant give away, so why not alter them so I can fit them again! I came across this dress while going through my closet.
So the dress falls below my knees and I felt it wasnt really flattering for my body so I decided to cut it shorter and hem it, heres how it looks cut and hemmed.
Im so proud of my self, I know its not that big of a refashion but its a start! Now Im gonna go through my closet and see what else I can alter.
Dress: Value village $2.00
Shoes: Boutique in Atlanta $5.00
Purse: Vintage, Value Village $3.50
Necklace: Ebay $5.00
P.S. Please exscuse my face I have no makeup on but I was super excited to try on the dress and share with you. xoxo
So I’m not your typical mommy, I’m not that mommy that wears yoga & sweat pants just because I am a mom and they are comfortable. You can still be comfortable and be a rock star mom!
So here’s one of my mommy on the go outfits (excuse the images my 5-year-old took them for me) LOL.
Gap Black Ruffle Dress: Goodwill $5.95
Black Sparkle Canvas Sneakers: Marshalls $19.99

This is day 18 of the ultimate blog challenge
Once again this weather is playing tricks! I just pulled out my spring wardrobe and the next day its cold and rainy. I had to dig back into my fall/winter wardrobe and decided on this blue jean outfit, which is all thrifted from Value Village, the boots are from Jcpenny. (my little guy decided to jump in one of my shots).

Everyone always ask why do I always take pictures on this brick wall (my signature wall) you always see me in the back drop, well my daughter which is 5 takes all my pictures right before we jump in the car to start our day. We live in a town house and its is all brick, plus the lighting is great! 😉
On this day I decided I wanted to be comfortable but fab like always.. 🙂 At least once a month I take my dad to his Dr appointments and I try to look my best even running errands and helping my dad out. I do hate that people mistake me for his wife or girlfriend, ugh gross..LOL
I bought the red checkered shirt (goodwill) thinking how cute it would look in the spring time with some white skinny jeans or shorts with a strappy heel or red converse. The necklace I bought about 2 years ago from forever21 and decided to finally pull it out and rock it with my western shirt (a little glamour mixed with western). 😉
As for the jeans & the cropped red jacket they are also from the Goodwill, the boots are by Liz & Co I caught on sale at Jcpennys during Black Friday for $30.00 (great price for real leather, I take that back can you say STEAL).
If you haven’t figured it out I am a thrift junkey! I try to go at least twice a week but no less than once a week. Last week I had to do a photography session an hour away from me in Roswell. I went up a little early so I can look for a few thrift stores and what to do I find? I drive up to this Salvation Army, but this wasn’t just any Salvation Army this one was big! They had clothes, furniture, linen, just about everything. I was set up like a Marshalls, I was in heaven.
I ended up finding a pair of trousers, a dress, and a pair of shorts.
Brand new with tags it was 24.99 but I got it for $9.99
Trousers $3.99
I love all the pieces I found, I used these images for my inspiration when shopping.
So yesterday I stopped by a Value Village in the area I was in, I didn’t think I would find much since its not the best area. By my surprised I find a few things that I am very excited about.
If you follow the trends like me then you know sexy strappy heels are making a come back. I love a sexy strap heel so I knew I had to find a pair, so when I saw these for $3.99 brand new I wanted to scream.. 😉
I also found these vintage purses for $2.00 each and these belts for $0.99 each.
I think I found some great stuff on my thrift haul. You find anything good lately?
